Show Your Home Some Love This February
February isn’t just about romantic love; it’s the perfect time to show yourself and your home some appreciation too. As we navigate the last (I hope) of Winter and look ahead to Spring, small touches can make all the difference in bringing warmth, beauty and comfort to your space. Here at Chloe Roberts Interiors, we are firm believers that your home should be a reflection of love, care and personality. It should feel loved and lived in. So, whether you’re planning a quiet night in or simply want to refresh your environment, here are some simple ways to embrace the “season of love” at home.
Declutter & Refresh
There’s nothing quite as satisyfing as a good declutter. It’s often just getting started that’s the problem… not just me, right? Start by tackling one space at a time, whether it’s the dreaded drawer in your bedside table, kitchen counters or that overflowing wardrobe. Aim for one space a day. Sometimes it’s as simple as setting a 20 minute timer and just getting it done. Creating a tidy, well-organised environment instantly makes your home feel calmer and more inviting.
Tip: Try the one-year rule - if you haven’t used or loved something in the past year, it might be time to let it go. Donate, recycle, or repurpose items to keep things sustainable.
2. Indulge in Cosy Comforts
Make your home your safe space, the place you want to spend this valentines day. Who goes out anymore? Introduce soft, luxurious textures. Layer them up with throws, a range of cushions and soft lighting to create an inviting space to unwind.
Our Top Cosy Picks:
Recycled Wool Blanket - perfect for curling up on the sofa.
Scented Candle - based in my lovely hometown, these are personal favourite candles often used in projects.
Cashmore Socks - did I mention we’d be staying in this valentines day?
3. Add a Touch of Valentine’s Colour
Don’t worry, we’re not going full-on hearts and roses, but introducing soft pinks, deep reds and warm neutrals can bring a sense of seasonal charm to your space. A simple vase of fresh flowers or table setting will do the trick.
Current Favourite Colour Pops:
Gorgeous Fresh Flowers - From another gem based in my hometown, I love that these flowers aren’t the stereotypical red roses. They feel fun, romantic and whimsical; I love the colours.
Deep Red Candlesticks from Birdie Fortescue; I love these upon a mantelpiece.
Antique Rose Linen Napkins for your table setting.
